| Subj: Request for Assistance to Facilitate Weapons Transit at Bangkok IAP
Our team of United States military personnel from the 3rd Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group, is scheduled to arrive in Thailand with our US Government military training equipment, including weapons, via commercial aircraft. We will perform combined military training with the Royal Thai Armed Forces for Exercise Balance Torch 97-XX. We intend to arrive Suvarnabhumi at 1130 July 13 via Northwest flight 27 from Narita, Japan. All weapons and equipment listed are property of the US government. After the exercise, we will depart Suvarnabhumi for Narita, August 15 at 0610, Northwest flight 008.
